Sunday Services @ 10:00 am in the Sanctuary

The congregation of Chatham UMC gathers for our family-friendly worship service in our sanctuary every Sunday at 10:00 am. All ages are welcome! Our pastors offer brief children’s sermons during the Time for Young Christians. Communion is served the first Sunday of every month; all are welcome and invited to be served communion. Our music groups offer a wide variety of music each Sunday. All are invited to refreshments and fellowship following the service each Sunday.

CUMC is committed to being a fully inclusive congregation and that includes children. Your children are welcome among us! On the side of the sanctuary are coloring tables, bean bag chairs, and books. A family room with a changing table, rocking chairs, and a tv monitor is available at the back of the sanctuary; parent/caregiver supervision is needed there.

Three accessible parking spots are available in the small parking lot next to the back door. Large print bulletins and large print hymnals are available at the side entrance and in the narthex. If you don’t find them, please inquire with a greeter or usher. An elevator is available from the first floor to the second floor. An accessible restroom is available on the second floor.

During the program season from September through June: on the second and fourth Sundays of the month, children up to fourth grade may leave after the scripture reading for Faith Formation. Each Sunday following the service, Faith Formation groups for middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults are offered throughout the first floor.
